"Modernos Tiempos"
En la película, "Modernos Tiempos", Carlito comió pan en la prisión. También fue comer sopa en la cafetería. La policía estaban buscando a un criminal nervioso. La policía llevieron al hombre lejos de su almuerzo para hacer preguntas. Carlito pensó que la cocaína fue la sal. Estaba muy mal. Carlito sentía muy emocionado. La cocaína hacía Carlito muy enojado. Carlito tomó el pan fuera del hombre a su izquierda. Estaba vueltas en círculos como salió de la cafetería. Él andó a la prisón después de que salió a el patio.

Very good use of the preterite to signal the main events of the story. The impefect was appropriately used to some point but more was needed. Please include more descriptions (use of the imperfect) to your story. For instance, what were the characters like? Describe the prison. was were the other prisoners doing at the time Carlos and the bad guy were sort of fighting? Also, revise the following sentences:

2. Carlito tomó el pan fuera del hombre a su izquierda (what do you mean by "fuera del hombre a su izquierda?")
3. Estaba vueltas (use the ver "dar vueltas" here) en círculos como (is this "cuando?") salió de la cafetería.
4. Él andó (this means "he went/walk to prison" but I guess you want to say the opposite here)a la prisón después de que salió a el patio.
